Zakenya Perry Neely
Zakenya Perry Neely is a native New Orleanian with over 15 years of experience in the non-profit and small business sector, particularly in the arenas of small business infrastructure development, project-management, community relations, and human resources management.
Mrs. Neely holds a Master’s Degree of Arts in Organizational Management, which has afforded her the opportunity to work with small businesses, local and national non-profit organizations and foundations.
She has served as Director of Operations and Special Projects for 100 Black Men of Metro New Orleans and as the Vice President of Programs and Partnerships for the Orleans Public Education Network.
In September 2012, Mrs. Neely was named Community Trailblazer of the Year by Data News Weekly of New Orleans.
Outside of work, Zakenya loves to play tennis and relishes in interior design and special events planning.
